• C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) with excess amount:
  With this insurance in case of damage the renter’s liability is limited to an excess amount of:
• 900,00 € for the groups Α & Β and
• 1100,00€ for the groups C & D

• Unlimited Kilometers for more than 3 day rentals. (For rentals up to 3 days, we provide free 150 km per day. From there and above there is an additional charge of 0.12€/km.)

Driver:
Minimum age for all rentals is 21 years old.

Driving License:
The driving license must be issued at least one year before the pick-up date.
National driving licenses issued in the EU, the USA, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the UAE, Israel, Russia or Ukraine are accepted.
Citizens of all other countries must have a valid International Driver’s License along with their regular Driver’s License.

Bookings and Vehicle Groups:
All reservations are based on vehicle groups and not on a specific vehicle model. We try to assign to each reservation the chosen vehicle model. However, if the chosen model becomes unavailable, our company reserves the right to offer a similar model. A similar model will be a vehicle in the same group – category as the chosen model. Also, our company reserves the right to offer a model of a bigger group – category with no extra charge (free upgrade).

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Deposit Amount:
The deposit can be paid online from our website with credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners & Discover.

All card payments are processed through the electronic payment platform “Nexi e-Commerce” of Nexi Payments Greece S.A., which uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol with 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Encryption is a way of coding information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

Balance Amount:
The remaining amount will be paid when you pick up the vehicle with cash, credit, debit, or prepaid cards.

Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you have to send a cancellation notice email and receive an answer that we received your cancellation notice.
There is no cancellation fee if we receive the cancellation notice up to 20 days before the due pick-up date and time.
If the car rental reservation is canceled within 19 days prior to the booking date, the full deposit amount will be charged.

No-Show Policy:
If the renter fails to collect the vehicle within 2 hours of the agreed rental start date and time without any written update, the reservation may be automatically canceled, and the total booking amount will be charged.

Booking Length and Charges: The minimum booking length is a few hours, and the minimum rental charge is one day. Extra charges will apply if the renter returns the vehicle later than the agreed time.

Rental extension: If the renter wishes to extend the rental period, he should contact our company as soon as possible. If there is availability, the extension of the rental will be noted in the Rental Agreement, along with the corresponding fee. If there is no availability, the renter must return the vehicle on the agreed date and time.

Fuel Policy:
The renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as delivered. If the return fuel level is less, he will be charged the difference. If the return fuel level is more there is no money return.

Traffic fines or other administrative sanctions: The renter must pay traffic fines or any administrative sanctions that may result from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law. The renter can pay the fines in cash or with a credit card. If any fine becomes required after the rental period, our company will charge the renter’s credit card the amount of the fine.
If the police or other authority removes the registration plates during the rental, the renter must compensate our company immediately. The compensation amount will be calculated by multiplying the total number of days that the vehicle will be without registration plates by the per-day rental price from the current season.

Road Accident: In the event of a road accident, the renter must immediately inform our company and the police. The police will record the accident, and the renter must obtain and present to our company a copy of the police report. If the police do not record the accident, the renter assumes all responsibility, and no insurance coverage applies.

INSURANCES

Basic Insurance Package:
The basic insurance package is included in the rental price. With this package, all authorized drivers are insured against third-party liability for death, bodily injury, and property damage.

With the basic insurance package, the renter also has
CDW insurance, Theft, & Fire insurance with excess amount:
900€ + VAT for groups A & B.
1100€ + VAT for groups C & D.
Damages to glass, tires, and rims are not covered by the basic insurance package.

An excess amount of 900€ + VAT means that in the event of an accident or damage:
Over 900€ + VAT you will be asked to pay 900€ + VAT.
Below 900€ + VAT you will be asked to pay the total amount of the damage plus VAT.

Extra Insurance Coverage:

Medium Insurance Package: The Medium insurance package is available at an additional cost. With the medium insurance package, the renter has SCDW insurance, Theft, & Fire insurance with excess amount:
500€ + VAT for groups A & B.
600€ + VAT for groups C & D.

Crystal breakage with excess amount 200€ + VAT

Damage to tires and rims (excess amount 90€ + VAT per piece)

Full Insurance Package: The full insurance package is available at an additional cost. With the full insurance package, the renter has FDW insurance, Theft, Fire, & Glass insurance without an excess amount.

Damage to tires and rims (excess amount 50€ + VAT per piece).

Theft Insurance: Theft insurance covers the rental only in case of total theft. It does not cover partial theft and theft of the renter’s personal belongings from the vehicle.

Warranty amounts – Security Deposit for all vehicles
The security deposit amount depends on the chosen insurance package and is equal to the excess amount. When picking up the vehicle, the driver must have a credit or debit card, which will be used for the security deposit. The amount of the security deposit will be reserved from this card. This amount will no longer be available for immediate use on your card. This amount will be returned in full at the end of the rental as long as no other charges arise. The release time of the amount depends on the issuing bank of the card and not on our company. We release the security deposit amount immediately at the end of the rental.

What is not covered by any insurance:

• Damages caused by a driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Damages caused by an unauthorized driver.
• Damages in the interior of the vehicle.
• Damages that were caused because the vehicle was illegally parked.
• Damages due to traffic law violation.
• Damages due to inappropriate driving, negligence, or intentional.
• Damages to the engine by wrong fuel or negligence.
• Damages were caused because the vehicle was used off-road or on inappropriate roads (e.g., unpaved roads, dirt roads, beaches).
• Damages that were caused after the agreed return time.
• Damage to the mirrors.
• Damages or loss of tires, rims, and hubcaps.
• Damages to the underside of the vehicle.
• Damages or loss of the antenna.
• Damages caused willfully or recklessly by the renter, e.g. (burning out the clutch, burning out the tires, sitting or standing on the bonnet, or the roof or the boot lid of the vehicle, etc.)
• If the renter at the time of the accident does not notify our company and the police.
• Loss of personal items.
• Loss, damage, or theft of vehicle keys.
• Loss or damage of child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, petrol cap, or any accessories which are provided by the rental company.

Additional Cleaning Fee:
It is applied if, upon its return, the vehicle needs cleaning beyond the usual. The biological cleaning fee is 80€ + VAT. In cases where we need to clean only one seat or a children’s seat and not all the seats, all the interior, the charge is 35€ + VAT.

Car Transport by ship and driving outside the borders:
It is forbidden to load the rental vehicle on a ship or to transport it outside the Greek borders, without the written approval / consent of our company.

Vehicle Replacement:
If the vehicle becomes unusable, our company will provide a replacement within a reasonable period of time. This period depends on availability and the area where the vehicle breakdown. If the vehicle becomes unusable due to the renter’s fault or negligence, an extra cost will be charged to cover the replacement cost.

Important Info:
Before you leave, you must check the vehicle and make sure you report any damage to the staff (to serve you better, it’s a good idea to take pictures or video of the vehicle). Our company is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal items. Our company has the right to cancel the rental agreement without any consequences if the renter is considered harmful to the company’s interests or violates either the traffic laws or the rental terms.
